Common questions about the process

Answers to frequently asked questions about event insurance underwriting and timelines.

How long does the process take for standard events?

Standard events generally move faster than specialty risks, especially when the submission is complete and the event fits established underwriting guidelines.

What about specialty events like festivals or rodeos?

Specialty events require more detailed underwriting review due to their unique risk profiles. Timing depends on event complexity, venue requirements, and how complete the submission is.

What documents do I need to get started?

At minimum, you need your event details (date, location, type, attendance). For specialty events, we may need venue contracts, site maps, safety plans, or vendor lists. We'll tell you exactly what's needed during the review process.

Can I make changes after coverage is placed?

Yes. If your event details change or your venue updates their written requirements, contact us and we'll review the change with you. Most revisions are handled within one business day.

What carriers do you work with?

Carrier options depend on your event, state, limits, venue wording, and underwriting eligibility. When a venue or contract requires a specific AM Best rating, our team reviews available markets against that requirement.

Do you support nationwide placements?

We support event buyers nationwide, subject to licensing, carrier appetite, and the details of the specific risk being reviewed.

Ready to get started?

Submit your event details and our underwriting team will review the risk, follow up with any missing items, and provide coverage options when review is complete.
