Sports events combine physical activity with crowds — a recipe for claims.
Participant injuries. Spectator accidents. Equipment failures. Weather cancellations.
Proper insurance protects your event and your organization.
Types of Sports Events We Cover
Marathons and 5K runs, youth tournaments, adult recreational leagues, charity races, obstacle courses, and cycling events.
Essential Coverages
Participant Accident — Covers injuries to athletes/participants.
General Liability — Covers spectators, volunteers, and property damage.
Cancellation — Protects against weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Equipment — Covers timing systems, barriers, medical equipment.
Waivers Aren't Enough
Waivers help, but they're not bulletproof. Courts can throw them out. Insurance is your real protection.
Working with Municipalities
Many races require city permits and insurance. After binding, we coordinate certificates and available endorsements for municipal review; the municipality controls acceptance.
